This course, Principles of Personal Data Protection
& Confidentiality, is designed to equip healthcare professionals at
Hayat National Hospital with the essential knowledge and skills to manage,
protect, and secure sensitive health information in compliance with Saudi
regulations and global best practices. Through a focused one-day training,
participants will gain a clear understanding of Health Information Management
(HIM), the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), National Data Management
Office (NDMO) standards, CHI HI Chapter 3 requirements, ISO 27701 privacy
frameworks, and cybersecurity risk mitigation strategies. The program
emphasizes both the legal responsibilities and practical measures required to
safeguard patient data, ensuring compliance, patient trust, and the hospital’s
long-term accreditation and operational excellence.
